ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective two different amounts of a numbing medication called Articaine are for tooth extractions in the back of the jaw. The trial will compare using either 1.8 ml or 3.6 ml of this medication to see which volume works better for making patients comfortable during the procedure. The trial is not yet recruiting participants but aims to include healthy individuals aged 18 and older who need to have certain back teeth removed due to decay or other reasons.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should not have any serious health issues and must not be allergic to the medications used. They should also not have any infections at the extraction site or be pregnant. Those who participate can expect to receive either of the two doses of Articaine before their tooth extraction and help researchers understand which dose provides better pain relief. This information could help improve dental procedures for future patients.
