ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on testing a new program called the Spanish-language Caregiver-Enabled Care Program (CECP). The aim is to support Spanish-speaking caregivers who take care of individuals with dementia. The program will provide personalized education, one-on-one coaching, and remote monitoring, all through a tablet that will be sent to the caregiver’s home for free. Researchers are looking to recruit 135 pairs of patients and caregivers to see how well this program works.
To be part of this study, the patient needs to be Hispanic or Latino, diagnosed with dementia, and enrolled in a specific care program. They also need a family caregiver who speaks Spanish and is willing to participate. The caregiver must be at least 18 years old and able to communicate in Spanish. Participants can expect to receive helpful resources and support throughout the study, making it easier for them to manage the challenges of caregiving. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a great opportunity to receive additional support.
