ClinConnect Summary
CCRM Fertility is conducting a study to explore a new method called in vitro maturation (IVM) for helping women with infertility, especially those diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). IVM uses fewer hormones than traditional in vitro fertilization (IVF), making it a potentially more affordable option with fewer side effects. Women who qualify for this study will receive a complimentary cycle of IVM treatment, which includes a consultation, fertility tests, and some medications.
To be eligible, participants should be infertile women with a good ovarian reserve, specifically those with an antral follicle count greater than 24 and an AMH level above 3.5 ng/ml. Additionally, they need to have a body mass index (BMI) under 35 and agree to have embryos tested for genetic conditions. Participants should also plan to transfer embryos within four months after the IVM cycle. If you’re interested, this study offers a chance to receive cutting-edge fertility treatment at no cost while helping advance research in this important area.
