ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a tool called the Baltimore Orthopedic Subscapularis Score (BOSS), which helps doctors understand specific shoulder injuries, particularly tears in a muscle called the subscapularis, part of the rotator cuff. The researchers want to make sure the BOSS works well for Turkish-speaking patients by testing its accuracy and reliability. The study will involve 25 participants aged 18 and older who have been diagnosed with a rotator cuff injury and are comfortable speaking Turkish. They will fill out questionnaires during their regular rehabilitation sessions to help assess how well the BOSS works compared to other established tests.
If you or someone you know has a rotator cuff injury and meets the eligibility criteria, you could potentially participate in this study. Participants will complete the questionnaires initially and then again after 15 days to see if the results remain consistent. It's important to note that individuals with other shoulder problems, fractures, or who cannot read Turkish will not be included in the study. This research aims to improve the understanding and treatment of rotator cuff injuries in the Turkish population.
