ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new way to help women who have had trouble with a procedure called office hysteroscopy, which allows doctors to look inside the uterus. The focus of the study is to see if using ultrasound guidance can make it easier for doctors to access the uterine cavity, especially for those who have previously experienced difficulties due to a condition called cervical stenosis, where the cervix is too narrow.
To participate in this trial, women between the ages of 18 and 74 who have a history of failed office hysteroscopy may be eligible. However, some women may not qualify if they have certain conditions like pelvic inflammatory disease, are pregnant, have severe vaginal bleeding, or are allergic to specific medications. Participants can expect to undergo the procedure with the added support of ultrasound to help ensure better access. This study is currently not recruiting participants, so it’s still in the planning stages.
