ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how to prevent injuries in adolescent baseball players in Taiwan, especially those related to their throwing arms. Due to the demanding practices and games, many young athletes experience fatigue, which can lead to injuries. The goal of the study is to identify which players are at higher risk of injury based on past experiences and to provide tailored care guidelines to help reduce this risk. The researchers will compare this new care model with standard care to see which is more effective at preventing injuries.
To participate in this trial, players need to be members of their school baseball team and have permission from their parents. They should also be willing to complete a consent form. However, players with a significant history of injuries or certain medical conditions won't be eligible. Those who join can expect to receive specialized care aimed at keeping them healthy and safe while playing baseball. The ultimate aim is to implement this improved care model across all youth baseball teams in Taiwan, helping to keep young athletes in the game without the worry of injury.
