ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a special exercise program using a device called the universal exercise unit, sometimes referred to as a spider cage or monkey cage. This device is designed to help children with cerebral palsy improve their movement and coordination. The aim is to engage their balance and awareness, making it easier for them to perform everyday activities. The trial is currently looking for children aged 5 to 15 who can understand and follow instructions and have some ability to walk and stand on their own.
To participate, children should be diagnosed with a milder form of cerebral palsy (levels I-III on the Gross Motor Function Classification System). However, children with severe physical disabilities or those who have planned surgeries in the next six months are not eligible. If your child joins the study, they will have the opportunity to work with this unique exercise equipment, which may help improve their motor skills in a fun and engaging way.
