ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how education can help pregnant women better understand and cope with the fears and anxieties related to childbirth, which can sometimes be seen as a traumatic experience. The goal is to provide training that can help these women feel more prepared and supported, ultimately reducing the negative feelings they might have about giving birth. This is important because how a woman perceives her birth experience can affect her well-being after the baby is born.

To participate in this trial, women need to be at least 18 years old, willing to join, and have a specific score indicating they have concerns about childbirth. They should also be in good health with no serious pregnancy-related issues, and they need to be able to read and understand the information provided. If eligible, participants can expect to receive helpful education and support from midwives, which may improve their confidence and reduce anxiety about childbirth. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so it’s a great opportunity for those who meet the criteria to gain valuable insights and support during their pregnancy journey.
