ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a method called "Extended Platelet Rich Fibrin" to help patients who need dental implants in the back of their mouth but have limited bone width. The goal is to see if this technique can improve the success of implants for people who have lost teeth due to bone loss in their jaw. The trial will involve 32 healthy patients from the oral and maxillofacial department at Mansoura University, who will be carefully selected based on specific criteria.

To qualify for the study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a certain amount of bone width (between 3 to 6 mm) in their jaw. They should also be motivated to follow the treatment plan and maintain good oral hygiene. However, individuals with certain health issues, like uncontrolled diabetes or serious mental health conditions, or those who smoke heavily or have poor oral hygiene, will not be eligible. If you join this trial, you can expect close monitoring and follow-up visits to ensure everything goes smoothly as part of your dental treatment.
