ClinConnect Summary
The My Health Coach App clinical trial is designed to see if a special app can help improve the daily lives and overall well-being of adults with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD). The main questions being explored are whether using the app makes a difference in how participants feel about their quality of life and how they manage their everyday activities.
To take part in this study, you need to be an adult aged 18 or older, have a diagnosis of FASD or a history of prenatal alcohol exposure, be able to read and write in English, and own a smartphone. If you join, you will complete surveys at the beginning of the study, then again at 6 weeks and 12 weeks later. Half of the participants will start using the app right away, while the other half will wait until the study is almost over to use it. This way, researchers can compare the answers from both groups and see if the app really helps. If you're interested, this is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could benefit many others!
