ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at patients who are set to have orthopedic surgery and have lived in high-altitude areas for a long time. The goal is to understand how these patients recover after surgery and to identify any complications they might face. Researchers will use smart devices to track important health information such as heart rate, oxygen levels, sleep quality, and stress levels before and after surgery. Regular check-ups will help monitor recovery and gather other medical information.

To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 18 years old, not have serious health issues, and be scheduled for planned orthopedic surgery. They must also have lived at least six months at an altitude over 2,500 meters. However, those needing emergency surgery or who have been away from high-altitude areas for more than three months won't be eligible. This research aims to create a better understanding of how living at high altitudes affects recovery from surgery, helping improve care for future patients.
