ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to see how effective different dietary supplements are at increasing levels of coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) in the body. CoQ10 is a substance that helps with energy production in our cells and is often taken for overall health and wellness. Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will take one of four different supplements or a placebo (a pill with no active ingredients) and report how they feel during the study.
To be eligible for the trial, you need to be an adult aged 40 or older and able to read and speak English. However, if you've been using any CoQ10 supplements or certain medications recently, or if you have specific health conditions, you may not qualify. Participants should expect to share their experiences and health changes while taking the supplement. This study aims to help us understand which, if any, of these supplements could be beneficial for increasing CoQ10 levels safely.
