ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and those who have had a West Nile virus infection (vWN) think and feel. The researchers want to understand their visual-spatial skills, which involve how we perceive and interact with space around us, and any psychological effects they might experience. Participants will take part in tests to evaluate their thinking and emotional well-being, followed by 10 sessions of cognitive training that includes digital exercises and special glasses that can help with visual tasks. After the training, the patients will be tested again to see if there are any improvements in their thinking and emotional health.
To join the study, individuals must have been diagnosed with either MS or vWN within the last 12 months, be able to use at least one hand, and have normal or corrected vision. Unfortunately, those with a history of severe mental health issues or other major neurological diseases, or who cannot understand instructions clearly, will not be able to participate. This study is currently recruiting participants of all ages and genders, and it aims to provide insights that could lead to better rehabilitation strategies for these conditions.
