ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a procedure called hysteroscopy, which is a way for doctors to look inside the uterus using a thin tube. The focus of this study is to see if filling the bladder can help reduce pain for women who have a specific condition known as excessive anteflexion of the uterus—this means that the uterus is tilted forward more than normal. The idea is that filling the bladder may help straighten the uterus, potentially making the procedure more comfortable for patients.
Women aged between 18 and 75 who have excessive anteflexion of the uterus may be eligible to participate in this trial. However, those with certain conditions, such as serious cervical issues, a history of cervical surgeries, or severe vaginal bleeding, cannot take part. If you join the trial, you will help researchers understand whether this bladder filling technique can make office hysteroscopy less painful for women with this condition. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so keep an eye out for updates if you’re interested!
