ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new digital app designed to help melanoma patients manage their care after treatment. Specifically, it's focused on patients with early-stage melanoma (stage I and II) who were diagnosed within the last four months. The trial will involve 180 participants who will be randomly assigned to either use the personalized Melanoma Survivorship Care Plan (SCP) app or receive standard care. The app offers tailored information about their diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care, helping them understand their specific needs and what to expect moving forward.
To participate, individuals must be at least 18 years old and have recently been diagnosed with stage I or II cutaneous melanoma. Unfortunately, those with more advanced melanoma (stage III or IV) or who are not comfortable communicating in Dutch will not be eligible. Throughout the trial, researchers will collect information through questionnaires and medical records to see how effective the app is in supporting patients. This could be a great opportunity for eligible patients to gain personalized support in their recovery journey.
