ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new system called the Smart Hallway, which helps gather information about how people walk and move. The goal is to see if the data collected by this system is useful and accepted by healthcare professionals for treating patients with conditions like amputation, gait disorders, or neurological issues. The study is currently recruiting participants aged 65 to 74 who can walk at least 10 meters on their own and can answer some questions. They should also speak Slovenian and be willing to sign a consent form to participate.
If you join this study, you can expect to use the Smart Hallway system during your visits, where your walking ability will be assessed. It's important to know that individuals with severe cognitive impairments or those who cannot walk, even with support like a prosthesis or orthosis, will not be eligible for this trial. Your participation could help improve how healthcare providers understand and treat walking problems in older adults.
