ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Language Learning and Language Experience," is looking to find out if reading text can help young children learn new action words, known as verbs. The researchers want to see if the benefits of using text vary based on how well children can read at their age. The study is open to typically developing children between the ages of 3 and 6 who primarily speak English and have normal hearing and vision.
Children who participate will watch videos showing different actions while hearing new words. They will also name the sounds of the alphabet to help determine their reading skills. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to understand how text can support language learning in young kids. If you have a child who meets these criteria, they may be able to join this exciting research opportunity!
