Ankle Sprain Bowen Technique

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a common injury called a Grade I ankle sprain, which often happens to athletes, active individuals, and teens. The trial aims to explore the effectiveness of the Bowen technique, a treatment typically used for other muscle and joint problems, in helping people recover from this type of ankle sprain. While most people with Grade I sprains can recover with simple treatments like rest, ice, and exercises, this study will investigate if the Bowen technique can improve recovery outcomes.

To participate, you need to be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with a Grade I ankle sprain by a qualified doctor. Unfortunately, if you’ve had repeated ankle injuries, or if your injury is more severe (Grade II or III), you won't be able to join the trial. If eligible, you can expect to receive care and support as part of the study, which could help you understand new ways to heal your ankle effectively. This trial is currently looking for participants, so it’s a good opportunity for those who fit the criteria and want to contribute to improving treatments for ankle sprains.
