ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is investigating a new system that uses a 3D camera to estimate body weight and body composition during emergency medical care. The aim is to see how accurate and easy this new technology is compared to traditional methods that doctors currently use. Emergency physicians will participate in simulated emergency situations where they need to administer treatments based on a patient's weight. By using this 3D camera system, the study will evaluate whether it provides reliable weight estimates and how well doctors can use it in urgent situations.

To participate, volunteers acting as simulated patients must be at least 18 years old and meet certain health criteria, such as not exceeding a weight limit of 450 pounds. On the other hand, emergency physicians who want to take part must be willing to perform the necessary measurements during the simulations, without any physical limitations. Importantly, there will be no medical treatments given in this study; it's all about testing the camera's technology. This trial has not started recruiting participants yet, but it's an exciting opportunity to improve emergency care practices.
