ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how aerobic exercises, like walking or cycling, can improve lung function and overall fitness in women who have fibromyalgia, a condition that causes widespread pain and fatigue. The researchers want to see if these exercises can help with breathing and chest movement, which could make daily activities easier for participants.
To take part in this study, women need to have well-controlled fibromyalgia and a mild lung condition, but their weight should be within a certain range (a body mass index below 30). They should also be moderately active, meaning they do some physical activity but not too much. However, women with any serious lung diseases, exercise limitations due to other health issues, smokers, or those who are pregnant won't be eligible. Once the trial starts, participants will be guided through an exercise program, and they’ll be monitored to see how their lung function and exercise capacity improve over time.
