ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special lifestyle program, combined with a continuous glucose monitoring system, can help women who have been diagnosed with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). GDM is a type of diabetes that can occur during pregnancy. The study will explore how these tools can improve blood sugar levels and overall health for both mothers and their babies. The goal is to see if this approach can reduce risks related to heart health and promote healthier behaviors during and after pregnancy.
To participate in this study, women need to be at least 18 years old and currently pregnant with a diagnosis of GDM. They should also be willing to join the research. However, women who had diabetes before their pregnancy, have allergies to certain medical materials, or have issues with blood clotting will not be eligible. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who do take part can expect to receive support and monitoring to help manage their health throughout the pregnancy.
