ClinConnect Summary
The "Thriving With PMDs" study is looking at a self-help program designed to support people dealing with premenstrual disorders, like premenstrual dysphoric disorder or depression that worsens before a period. If you are a woman aged 18 to 42 and have been diagnosed with one of these conditions, you might be eligible to participate. To find out if you qualify, researchers will ask you to track your daily symptoms for two menstrual cycles before starting the program, during the two cycles of the program, and for an additional two cycles afterward. This will help the team see how your symptoms change over time.
The study is currently recruiting participants, but there are some important things to know. You cannot be taking oral contraceptives or currently receiving psychotherapy to join. By participating, you will have the chance to explore a new way to manage your symptoms and contribute to research that could help others in the future.
