ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two types of treatments for people suffering from mechanical neck pain (MNP). The treatments being compared are cervical spinal manipulation (CSM), which involves adjusting the spine, and visceral osteopathy (VO), a hands-on therapy that focuses on the body's organs and tissues. The goal is to see how these treatments affect pain, neck movement, and muscle strength in the neck and arms.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have experienced neck pain for at least one week. Additionally, you should have some limited movement in your neck but still be able to perform certain muscle tests. However, if you have certain health issues like arthritis, a history of neck surgery, or other specific conditions, you would not be eligible to join. If you choose to participate, you'll have the chance to receive one of the treatments and help researchers understand how effective these therapies are for neck pain.
