ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how providing extra nursing support can help reduce stress for parents who have a newborn diagnosed with Hirschsprung's disease, a condition that affects the large intestine. The study aims to see if regular nursing care, provided one or two times a day while the baby is waiting for surgery, can make a difference in how parents feel during this challenging time.
To participate in this trial, families with a newborn or infant under two months old who either have confirmed or suspected Hirschsprung's disease can join. Parents need to be able to take their baby home before the surgery and must agree to participate by signing a form. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and both moms and dads are welcome to take part. By joining, families can expect to receive additional nursing support and resources to help ease their worries as they prepare for their baby's surgery.
