ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special training program using simulations can help pediatric nurses improve their communication and problem-solving skills when caring for children and their families. The goal is to develop a training that better prepares nurses for real-life situations they encounter in pediatric clinics. To do this, 48 nurses will participate in practice sessions where they will work in small groups on simulated scenarios. Their interactions will be recorded, and they will receive feedback to help them improve. Researchers will measure the nurses' skills before the training, and then again one week and one month after, to see how much they have improved.
To be eligible for this study, nurses must provide care to children and agree to participate. However, those who choose to withdraw or do not complete all parts of the training will be excluded. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, so if you know a pediatric nurse interested in enhancing their skills, they may want to stay tuned for more information in the future. This research aims to make a meaningful difference in how nurses communicate and solve problems in pediatric care, ultimately benefiting the children and families they serve.
