ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how sharing detailed information about health and physical abilities affects the treatment decisions of older adults with cancer. The goal is to understand if giving older patients clear assessments of their health helps them make better choices about their care and focus on what’s most important to them.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be 65 years or older and have either started a new cancer treatment within the last month or are being considered for one. Participants will receive detailed information about their health, which may help them feel more confident in their treatment decisions. It’s important to note that individuals who can’t consent to the study, don’t speak English, or are already using an activity tracker daily won’t be eligible. Overall, this study aims to empower older adults by providing them with the information they need to take an active role in their cancer care.
