ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the "medidux" smartphone app, which aims to help manage the health of patients after they leave the hospital. Specifically, the trial is looking at whether using the app can help reduce the chances of patients being readmitted to the hospital or needing emergency care within a week after their discharge. The trial will include adults aged 18 and older who have been admitted to the hospital for non-urgent issues like cough, back pain, or abdominal pain.
If you are eligible to participate, you will need to sign a consent form and be able to speak German. You'll use the medidux app to track your symptoms and health for seven days after leaving the hospital. Researchers will check in with you at one week and four weeks after discharge to see how you are doing and if you needed any additional medical help. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, so if you're interested, keep an eye out for more information on how to join.
