ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial, titled "Enhanced Recovery Protocols in Gynecologic Oncology," is looking at a special program called Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) designed to help women recover more quickly after surgery for gynecologic cancer. The study will explore how well this program works in different medical centers in Greece and whether patients who meet certain requirements have better health outcomes compared to those who don’t fully meet the criteria. The goal is to find out if following this structured approach helps reduce complications, pain after surgery, and infections, ultimately improving the quality of life for patients.

To be eligible for this trial, participants should be women diagnosed with gynecologic cancer who are generally healthy (with specific performance and health scores). However, those with cancer that has spread to other parts of the body or with serious health issues may not be able to participate. If you join the study, you can expect to follow the ERAS protocol, which includes various strategies aimed at making your recovery smoother after surgery. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could contribute valuable information to help improve care for future patients.
