ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Enabling Microbiomics-Driven Personalized Nutrition," is focused on understanding how our diet, genetics, and gut bacteria (microbiome) can affect various digestive health issues, such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Crohn's Disease, and Celiac Disease. The researchers want to find out how these factors contribute to gastrointestinal problems and if their impact is different for different people.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosed gastrointestinal condition like those mentioned, or be a healthy individual without any digestive issues. Participants should also have a smartphone with internet access and be able to give informed consent. It’s important to note that individuals with cognitive impairments or those currently taking antibiotics cannot join the trial. If you're eligible, you'll be part of a research effort that aims to improve understanding of gut health and potentially lead to personalized dietary recommendations in the future.
