ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how inhaling a medication called salmeterol affects urine concentration after exercise. The researchers want to see how this works under normal conditions and when it's hot outside. They are currently looking for participants who are healthy, active individuals aged between 18 and 40 years old, who exercise more than five hours a week and have high levels of oxygen uptake.
To participate, you should not be a smoker or have any chronic illnesses that could affect the results. If you're selected, you can expect to take part in exercise sessions and provide urine samples to help researchers understand the effects of salmeterol on your body. It's important to note that if you have donated blood in the last three months or are pregnant, you won't be eligible for the study. This trial aims to learn more about how this medication might work in active individuals, which could help improve future treatments.
