ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether an AI-powered chatbot can help more families get their young children vaccinated against the flu. The trial will focus on children aged 6 to 59 months who haven't received a flu vaccine in the last two flu seasons. Parents of these children will be invited to participate if they are visiting clinics and can provide informed consent. The chatbot will answer any questions parents have about the flu vaccine, aiming to improve their understanding and confidence in getting their children vaccinated.
During the study, families will be divided into two groups: one group will use the chatbot for a month and a half, while the other group will not have access to it. The researchers will compare how many children in each group get vaccinated, as well as how much parents learn about the vaccine and how confident they feel about it. This trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to find out if using a chatbot could make a difference in flu vaccination rates among young children.
