ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at two types of stretching exercises—dynamic and static—to see which one is more effective in helping postmenopausal women with knee osteoarthritis (OA) feel better. Osteoarthritis is a common joint condition that causes pain and stiffness, especially in older adults. The study specifically aims to help women aged 50 to 65 who have been diagnosed with grade 3 OA and experience significant pain.
To participate in this trial, women must have had at least five children and be between 50 and 65 years old. However, those with a body mass index (BMI) over 30 or a history of certain cancers or bone deformities will not be eligible. If you join the study, you will learn more about stretching exercises and how they may improve your knee function and reduce pain. The trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, it could be a great opportunity to find relief from knee OA symptoms.
