ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying gallbladder stones in children to understand the relationship between different causes of these stones and the findings from tissue analysis after surgery. The researchers want to learn more about why some children develop gallbladder stones and how these factors can affect their treatment and recovery.

To participate in this trial, children must be under 18 years old and have symptoms related to gallbladder stones, such as stomach pain, fever, or vomiting. Some children with certain types of anemia or those with small stones who have not had surgery may also be eligible. The study is currently looking for participants, and those who join can expect to undergo tests and possibly surgery, with careful monitoring throughout the process. This research is important as it could lead to better understanding and treatment options for children with gallbladder stones.
