ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to improve our understanding of pain after surgery. Specifically, the study aims to test two models that can predict how much pain patients might experience after their surgery. Researchers will be working with adult patients in Denmark who are having planned (elective) or non-emergency (sub-acute) surgeries. By gathering information from these patients, they hope to learn more about who is likely to have moderate to severe pain after surgery and who might be at risk for ongoing pain.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and scheduled for surgery. However, if you have cognitive issues that prevent you from giving informed consent, you won't be able to take part. If you join the trial, you can expect to share your experiences regarding pain before and after your surgery, helping researchers gather important data that could lead to better pain management in the future. This study is currently recruiting participants and aims to provide valuable insights into postoperative pain.
