ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying whether using bone marrow stem cells along with a special substance called platelet-rich fibrin can help speed up the healing of large cysts in the upper jaw. The researchers want to see if this combination works better than using platelet-rich fibrin alone with bone grafts, which are materials used to help regenerate bone. The trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it will include adults aged 18 to 50 who have large maxillary cysts (over 3 cm) and are in good health.
If you qualify for this trial, you can expect to receive treatment that aims to improve bone healing in your jaw. However, certain individuals will not be eligible, such as those with very large cysts that could affect nearby important structures or those with significant health issues. This study could provide valuable insights into better treatment options for jaw cysts in the future.
