ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on a new program designed to help older adults improve their memory and balance, which can be especially important for those who may be at risk of falling or have early signs of dementia. The program uses a special exercise mat with pressure sensors and a connected monitor to guide participants through fun activities. These activities include balance exercises to prevent falls and memory games to support cognitive function. Older adults will join group training sessions led by a fitness coach to participate in these exercises.
To participate in this study, individuals must be 65 years or older and able to walk independently, even if they use assistive devices. Unfortunately, those who have been diagnosed with dementia, other serious mental health conditions, or who cannot read or speak Korean cannot take part in the trial. Participants can expect to engage in enjoyable sessions that aim to help them stay active and mentally sharp, while researchers will compare their progress to a similar group who is not in the program to see how effective it is.
