ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a type of exercise called Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training to see how it affects the ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) in the elbow, which is important for arm strength and movement. The researchers want to find out if doing these low-intensity exercises with BFR can change the thickness of the UCL and the space in the elbow joint, as well as improve arm strength over an 8-week period.
To participate, you need to be a healthy adult between the ages of 18 and 50 who can commit to completing all the exercise sessions. The study involves attending two sessions a week where you'll do exercises with both arms, but only the dominant arm will receive the BFR treatment. You'll also have ultrasound scans of your UCL at the beginning and end of the study, along with strength tests to measure any changes. This is a great opportunity to contribute to research that could help improve exercise methods for everyone!
