ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial aims to study how a special body wash called CLn® (which contains a very diluted solution of sodium hypochlorite) affects the skin of patients with a type of skin cancer called cutaneous T cell lymphoma, specifically mycosis fungoides. The researchers want to see if using this body wash daily can improve the balance of bacteria and other microorganisms on the skin, which might help reduce symptoms like itching and redness. If successful, this could lead to larger studies that further explore how this body wash can help manage the condition.

To participate in this trial, individuals must be adults between 18 and 89 years old who have active mycosis fungoides. This includes people who may have had other cancers in the past, as long as those cancers don’t affect the same area of skin. However, those who have used certain antibiotics recently, are pregnant, or have started new skin treatments in the past month will not be eligible. Participants will be asked to use the body wash daily and will have their skin monitored throughout the study to see how it responds. This trial is currently not recruiting participants, but it could open the door for new ways to manage this skin condition in the future.
