ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how herpes zoster, also known as shingles, affects the quality of life of adults. The goal is to understand the burden of this disease and how immunization can help. This trial will involve two groups of participants: one group will be people over 18 years old who are getting vaccinated against shingles, and the other group will include adults who were diagnosed with shingles from 2012 to 2023.

To participate in the study, individuals must be over 18 years old and not pregnant. People with certain conditions that might prevent them from answering questions, like severe dementia, will not be included. Participants can expect to provide information about their experiences with shingles, including how it has impacted their daily lives. This study is important because it aims to gather valuable information that could improve the understanding and treatment of shingles, helping to reduce its impact on patients.
