Dynamometry Lower Limb Assessment Child

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a tool called the K-Pull dynamometer, which is designed to measure how well children's lower limbs function. The goal is to see how reliable this tool is, meaning how consistently it gives the same results when different people use it or when the same person uses it at different times. Researchers will compare the K-Pull's results to those from a well-established device called the Cybex dynamometer to make sure it accurately reflects children's abilities.

To participate in this study, children must be between 5 and 16 years old and typically developing, meaning they don’t have any known developmental delays. They should also be able to control their movements voluntarily. However, children who have had recent injuries, surgeries, or are taking medications that might affect their muscle performance will not be included. If eligible, participants will take part in tests that measure their lower limb function using the K-Pull dynamometer, helping researchers gather important information about this assessment tool.
