ClinConnect Summary

The Small Changes Clinical Weight Loss Trial is designed to help people with obesity lose weight and improve their overall health. The study will evaluate a program called Small Changes, which includes a written dietary plan and regular check-ins. Researchers want to see how effective this program is in helping participants lose weight, improve their body composition (like muscle and fat balance), and enhance blood health markers, such as blood pressure and metabolic health.

To be eligible for this trial, participants need to have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 or higher and should have maintained a stable weight with minimal change over the past three months. They also need to be willing to follow the dietary plan and attend bi-weekly appointments for 12 weeks. This study is open to all genders, and participants must live in the area for the duration of the trial. However, certain conditions, such as pregnancy, recent weight loss surgeries, or severe health issues, may prevent someone from participating. If you or someone you know is interested and meets these criteria, this study could be a supportive way to work toward weight loss and better health.
