ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on studying the safety and quality of a medical procedure called Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). ERCP is used to diagnose and treat problems in the pancreas and bile ducts, which can include conditions like gallstones and certain types of cancer. While generally well-tolerated, ERCP can sometimes lead to complications that may be serious. The goal of this trial is to collect data on patient experiences and the technical aspects of the procedure to better understand these complications and improve the quality of care.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults aged 18 or older who are scheduled to undergo an ERCP at one of the participating centers. They will need to provide their consent to participate. During the study, researchers will record important information about the procedure and monitor patients for any complications that may arise afterward. This trial aims to fill the gap in knowledge about ERCP safety in the Spanish population, and the findings could help enhance the quality of this important procedure.
