ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to find out if certain blood test measurements, called Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR), can help predict how quickly kidney function declines in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The study will include 200 patients who are between 18 and 65 years old and have been diagnosed with CKD. Unfortunately, people outside this age range, pregnant women, and those with certain other health issues like diabetes or active infections won't be able to participate.
If you or a loved one qualifies for this study, you can expect to have your blood tested to measure the NLR and PLR levels. The trial has not started recruiting participants yet, but it aims to understand more about CKD and how it progresses, which could help improve future treatments and care for patients. It's an opportunity to contribute to important research that may benefit others dealing with similar health challenges.
