The Juntos trial is a research study aimed at helping families in the Latine community by testing a new program designed to prevent dating violence among young people. This program will involve both adolescents aged 12 to 16 and their caregivers, providing them with important tools and resources over six weeks. Participants will be chosen at random to either take part in the program or to receive a guide with helpful resources while they wait for their turn.
To be eligible for this study, adolescents must identify as Hispanic or Latino/a/x/e, speak either Spanish or English, and live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Their participating caregiver must also meet specific criteria, such as being over 18, identifying as Hispanic or Latino/a/x/e, and having been born outside the United States. This trial is currently looking for participants, and it offers a unique opportunity for families to learn about preventing dating violence in a supportive environment.

- Inclusion Criteria:
- • Adolescents
- • 1. Between the ages of 12-16
- • 2. Identify as Hispanic or Latino/a/x/e
- • 3. Speaks Spanish or English
- • 4. Lives within 50 miles of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- • 5. Has a participating parent or caregiver\* in the study
- • Adults
- • 1. Over the age of 18
- • 2. Identifies as Hispanic or Latino/a/x/e
- • 3. Speaks Spanish
- • 4. Lives within 50 miles of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
- • 5. Is a caregiver of a participating adolescent in the study
- • 6. Was born outside of the United States
