ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how different levels of electrolysis treatment can help people with chronic plantar fasciitis, a condition that causes persistent pain in the heel. Specifically, the study will compare high-intensity electrolysis with low-intensity electrolysis to see which one is more effective at reducing pain and stiffness in the heel area. Researchers want to find out if the stronger treatment leads to better pain relief and improved muscle properties compared to the milder treatment.
To join the study, participants must be 18 years or older and have been experiencing heel pain for at least three months due to chronic plantar fasciitis. This means they may feel pain when they first get out of bed in the morning or after sitting for a while. However, people with certain conditions, previous foot surgeries, or those who have recently received foot treatments will not be eligible. If selected, participants will receive one of the two types of electrolysis treatment and will be monitored for changes in pain and muscle stiffness over time.
