ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Parity and Respiratory Muscle Strength in Women," is exploring how having children (known as parity) affects the strength of breathing muscles in women. The researchers want to understand if there is a connection between the number of pregnancies a woman has had and how well her respiratory muscles function. This study is currently looking for women aged 20 to 45 who are interested in participating.
To be eligible for the trial, participants should not have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, and they should not have any history of serious health issues like heart problems, lung diseases, or neurological disorders. Women who smoke, have had back surgery, or are currently undergoing cancer treatment are also not eligible. If you join the study, you can expect to participate in assessments that will help researchers gather valuable information about respiratory muscle strength in relation to childbirth.
