ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how certain blood tests, called biomarker assays, can help predict heart-related problems in women with congenital heart disease during and after pregnancy. The study aims to see if checking these biomarkers at different times throughout pregnancy can give a better understanding of a woman's risk for heart issues compared to just one test at a single time.
To participate, women need to be currently pregnant and have a diagnosis of congenital heart disease. Unfortunately, those who cannot provide consent won't be able to join. If eligible, participants will have blood tests taken at different stages of their pregnancy and after childbirth, helping researchers gather important information about heart health during this critical time. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it offers a chance to contribute to important research that could help improve care for future pregnancies in women with heart conditions.
