ClinConnect Summary
The "Leadership for Recovery" clinical trial is studying a special program designed to help healthcare managers support their team members' recovery from stress and fatigue. This program includes six group sessions where managers will learn how to promote better recovery for their employees, focusing on important areas like sleep and overall mental well-being. The main goal is to see if this training can lead to improvements in how healthcare workers feel and recover from their work demands.
To participate, managers must be in charge of nursing or laboratory staff in hospitals, and their employees must work under them. However, those with less than six months of experience in their roles or who work on a casual basis will not be eligible. Participants can expect to share their experiences through surveys and daily diaries, allowing researchers to compare the recovery of employees whose managers took part in the program with those whose managers did not. This study aims to find out how effective this leadership program can be in creating a healthier work environment for everyone involved.
