ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding how to help people who are physically inactive or spend too much time sitting down, which can lead to health problems. The study is taking place in France and aims to involve primary healthcare professionals, like doctors and physiotherapists, to encourage patients to be more active. Despite previous efforts to promote physical activity, many people are still not getting enough exercise. This trial will look at ways to identify inactive patients and provide them with support to change their habits.
To participate in this trial, individuals must be adults aged 65 to 74 who are not already receiving long-term illness coverage and are under the care of a participating healthcare center. They will need to be identified as "inactive" based on a specific questionnaire and an analysis of their activity levels over a week. If eligible, participants can expect to receive guidance and support to help increase their physical activity in a way that works for them. It’s important to note that the trial is not yet recruiting participants, so those interested will need to wait for further announcements about when the study will begin.
