ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how fibromyalgia syndrome affects the ability to exercise, muscle strength, and daily activities compared to healthy individuals. Fibromyalgia is a condition that causes widespread pain and can make everyday tasks challenging. The researchers want to see if there are differences between people with fibromyalgia and those who are healthy when it comes to using their arms and performing daily tasks.
To participate in the study, you need to be between the ages of 18 and 65 and have a diagnosis of fibromyalgia. You must also have been stable on your medications for at least three months. Healthy individuals who want to join the study also need to be aged 18 to 65 but should not have any chronic illnesses. During the trial, all participants will undergo tests to measure their exercise capacity and strength. It’s important to know that the study is not yet recruiting, so there will be a wait before it starts. If you or someone you know is interested, keep an eye out for when the study begins!
